CLASS SCHEDULE
Head Instructor and Academy Owner
A 6-year Black Belt under Braulio Estima and academy Head Coach, Rob has been training for over 15 years and coaching for 9. Rob is a highly decorated competitor notably a Welsh Champion, English Champion, 5-time British Champion and European Silver medalist.
Rob oversees the curriculum, ranging from competitors’ classes, Fundamentals, Gi and No-Gi to our Kids program. Private tuition is available upon request.
Coach
Purple under Raphael Dos Santos, Ken has been training since 2014 and coaching since 2017. An active competitor recently earning Gold in the Gi and Silver No Gi at the Newquay open alongside twice competing at the European level.
Ken mainly delivers our day time classes and assists in the evening classes, private tuition is also available.
Coach
Purple belt under Rob Taylor Gareth has been training for over 10 years after being introduced to BJJ in 2008 by a friend. Gareth went on to win 1 semi-pro and 2 professional MMA fights building on a successful kickboxing and boxing background where he won over 25 senior bouts.
Gareth now delivers the academy's morning program.
Coach
A FILA certified coach and highly decorated competitor Soheil coaches our Wrestling class.
Soheil was the 4-time Junior National champion of Iran from 1993-97 and went on to represent the Iranian Junior National team in 1995 & 1996. Winning Gold 1995 Asian Championship, Bronze 1995 Cadet Asian Championship, Bronze 1995 Asian Greco-Roman Championship and finishing 5th at the 1995 Greco-Roman World Championship.
